    Suddenly, as if a switch were thrown, our nonexistent spring turned into a scorching summer! The gardens are visibly displaying the relief felt by all as they stretch and green in the sunshine. With garlic scapes on our dinner plates, bulbs have all the energy needed to ripen and harvest, clearing more room in the garden to play and plant. Creekside Gardener No. 6, June 9, 2010

    While the weather is no indication that summer is right around the corner, we are doing our best to dive into the season head first. At least we will land safe and sound in a mud puddle if anything goes terribly askew! Our first Community Farmers' Market of the year is next Tuesday, so if you find yourself in Lewis County, stop by and see us.
